From fresh to fearless: achieving aggressive growth plans

The Paal15 transformation engagement has re-defined and culturally aligned how LAB3 positions itself internally, with vendors and clients. We are now able to clearly articulate our value and go to market strategy which is clearly accelerating customer wins.”

SOLUTIONS
LAB3 had all the ingredients to blow their targets out of the water
LAB3 was founded by people with solid experience in corporate tech and an entrepreneurial mindset, that thought things could be done differently. To achieve their aggressive growth aspirations, they needed to define their DNA to match their target enterprise customer.
They also needed a solution model that allowed them to leverage their incredible agility, but still providing a repeatable framework to accelerate customer acquisition.
Powering a fearless foundation
We developed a strategic foundation for the whole organisation, defining business solutions around a technology journey where LAB3could add value every step of the way. Not only did this model drive the right business conversations, but it added scalability to LAB3’s way of working at the time and is still used as the basis for their methodology today.
After setting the strategic foundation, we developed an identity to match, creating LAB3’s “fear less, achieve more”positioning and full rebrand. We needed to capture the fact that customers could rely on LAB3 while also exciting them, for example, by turning best practices into code LAB3 can do cloud migrations in a week, with less errors, that can take other providers months. Once we launched, LAB3was able to effectively explain how they empower ambitious companies to drive greater business value, disrupt their industries, and grow fearlessly with controlled and scalable cloud technology.
RESULT
It’s clear the strategy and positioning resonated in the market, both with customers and partnerships like Microsoft, Red Hat, and more. For example, they are now a top Microsoft partner and their migration solution, Dr Migrate, is used globally to accelerate getting to cloud.
In 2019 alone, when we started working together, they smashed through their 5-year revenue target in just 2 years and won multiple awards such as the coveted CRN Fast50, naming them the fastest growing IT company in Australia in 2019.
Our work with LAB3 also didn’t stop, for example, launching industry solutions to market as part of their innovation lab, LAB3 Lumen, developing positioning for their expansion into Federal Government, and much more. LAB3 is bursting at the seams with talent, energy, and some pretty revolutionary ideas—and we can’t wait to help them keep shaping the future.

Data storage has grown in complexity. And hardware is just one piece of the puzzle.
IT has been evolving to a cloud, as-a-service and OpEx model, for decades now. Data storage should be more than an IT discussion—it’s about meeting and powering data-driven business needs.

Data

With growth in data-heavy technologies and applications, unstructured data is growing, putting much greater load on data storage infrastructure.
Business leaders are failing to realise that old data storage can limit their progress.
